NutritionWerks is comprised of a small team of health educators
who work with private individuals and corporations to help make staying
well a little bit easier. Intensive, on-going continuing education
in the areas of medical nutrition therapy and functional medical protocols

Education and Professional Background
Nan has a comprehensive academic and professional background in
the areas of clinical nutrition.
She has undergraduate degrees in both biochemistry and pre-medicine
from Minnesota State University Mankato in 1983 and completed her
graduate internship in clinical dietetics at the Kansas University
Medical Center in 1984.
Nan has attained additional training in the area of diabetes education,
having become a Certified Diabetes Educator in 1986. She has also
maintained intensive on-going continuing education in the areas
of medical nutrition therapy and functional medicine protocols to
more adequately support client needs in the area of advanced nutritional
supplentation concerns.These areas of expertise are cornerstones
to the superior professional services offered to all clients at
